Birthday!

ahem...so, the birthday is just around the corner...and if you so happen to want to buy me something i was inspired to make a list...this list is just stuff i need for camp this summer..while it seems stupid and petty the equip really adds up. and since i have no job/money, it'll be cool if you throw a sock or two my way. but if you just wanna swipe me into the cafe, that would be awesomeness too or just call me up for a happy birthday!

thanks!

btw its from rangerjoes.com, you could buy them used from ebay, i don't really need brand new anything. just equipment that works... stuff i really would need is the knife, flashlight and notebook...socks would be awesome too- even though it says quanity one...i'll be gone for like 2 months so like a 6 pack would be sweet, even just a pack of white ankle socks, or t-shirts would be appreciated...anyways, thanks!

Gather around...

totally bored and haven't updated in a while so while the count down begins with school, i'm going to give you guys stories on camp and such....

camp was awesome, i met a lot of cool people and made awesome friends for life. probably from the tons of pictures on facebook that you can see that i kept it real giang-sta (lol, just made that up!) we had to get up early, go to sleep late and basically do everything together but having people there for the same reason that i was there for was just a cool experience. btw i missed you guys, philly and i even have a photo of all the greeks doing their hand symbols.

The creatures come out at night:

time: about 3rd week, where: repelling site

okay, about third week in we go to these different sites like repelling, lake, etc. to camp out in the woods. and i mean really really camp...make your own fire, find your own wood kind of camp. before we even sleep we were for warned  about the crazy racoons that come out...but little did we know. one night while one of my friends were on raccoon watch, these two raccoons were sneaking up on the trash. she saw them and her and her battle buddy chased them down the trail. little did they know that these raccoons were trained professionals in sneaky-ism! they come back and find like 20 raccoons digging in the trash and taking it away! it was craziness. they were everywhere! soon as you chase one, another showed up from behind, they just knew! with me, i had this idiot left his prepackaged food (MREs) next to his tent...which was conviently right above mind..so there were basically strange and crazy noises throughout the night and my dumb @ss was scared sh*tless thinking that there were ghost trying to get me...

the end

april fools!

ok, so first day of coop orientation with 5 more to go...and lets say i keep it real...

so things to do during coop:

1.) catch up on all the books i've been meaning to read

2.) go to a lot of training classes

3.) train like no other- ie get a personal trainer

updates:

i've been getting this question for a bit so i guess i should answer it: y the army? y rotc?

  • first it really isn't about the money. i say money makes up about 15% of my decision. my mom could actually afford to pay for my tuition without stressing the family. i'm pretty much old enough to take care of myself, and having mommy take care of me when i'm almost 22 is killing me. so rotc provides that benefit. also, i get to move away from the fam and be on my own during school time.
  • second, i like the army and i think its cool to be a young veteran. ever since i was looking into westpoint i wanted to do army. so def, not a last minute thing-this is about 5 years in the making
  • benefits!
  • and most of all experience...every hospital is about the same experience wise. but being in the armed forces-especially the army provides something that no civilian hospital could provide

and to clarify- i'm not in it yet. i have to pass everything first. also, my LTC (sorta like bootcamp) is july 4 (what a coincidence)-august 1 @ fort knox, kentucky. so...sorry guys no convention :( super sad about that...

-o yea, to ppl who want the marr movies..i didn't forget...i'm trying to find a place where i can upload it (freely) and destribute it without the whole world being able to d/l it..any suggestions??
